Dear Santee Community,

I love Santee, and it is an honor to serve as your mayor. Please elect me for another term.

My 50 years of experience in public service, education, and law enforcement uniquely qualify me to make impactful decisions, such as the social host ordinance protecting children. Serving on various boards and committees, along with my tenure as mayor, has enhanced my understanding of regional governance and municipal operations. My leadership demonstrates my ability to collaborate, build consensus, and drive community-oriented solutions.

Throughout my tenure, I have proactively addressed community issues, fostered partnerships, and advocated for infrastructure improvements. This proactive approach underscores my commitment to enhancing our community’s economic vitality and should instill confidence in my ability to lead. I assure you that your concerns are being heard and addressed.

One example of an infrastructure improvement is the congestion on Highway 52. The pandemic slowed my progress; however, you can now see efforts to ease congestion from southbound I-15 to eastbound SR-52 are underway. Only my experience has secured funding and begun construction in such a short amount of time.

I see a brighter future for Santee and hope you can, too.
